Musotrees at Nelissa Hilman: A Slow Launch Event

We are grateful to have continuous supporters, especially from prominent Malaysian brand Nelissa Hilman. Last Tuesday, 17 September 2024, we reached a new milestone with this renowned shoe brand. Nelissa Hilman hosted the first physical launch of Musotrees Volume 11 at their store in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
From 3 to 5 p.m., we welcomed familiar faces and new readers from various backgrounds to celebrate the new issue. As part of the launch event, we held a panel conversation with our Malaysian interviewees and contributors: Omar Mohamed Said and Sumay Cheah, who both run their own businesses—Flowco Malaysia/Sal’s Estate and OtherHalf Studio. The conversation was moderated by Nelissa Hilman herself, along with Kerol Izwan, the founding principal of Musotrees, who gave the welcome note.
It was an amazing day indeed. Thank you so much to everyone who came, and a special thanks to Nelissa Hilman for making the event a success.
