Andermatt’s ambience transforms with each season. I visited in March, an ideal time when winter gracefully transitions into early spring. The landscape becomes a mesmerising blend of powdery white snow and the lively colours of the alpine flora. During my few nights in the village, I experienced the essence of Swiss mountain life, soaking in the breathtaking views and relaxed atmosphere. Andermatt stands out from any Swiss city I've visited, with its serene and thoughtfully curated lifestyle.
To help you plan your trip to Andermatt, I've compiled a simple itinerary for your reference, including snapshots from my daily morning strolls, quick tours and spontaneous discoveries at this charming village.
