Vetiveria, in its deep green form, stood as the highlight among the collection — though I couldn’t help but notice my own leanings toward Muscat and Arabesque, with their warm ochre and skylight purple tones. Still, it was Vetiveria that called for attention that day — fresh, spirited, and quietly radiant.
At first encounter, the scent felt refreshing — herbaceous and woody, yet never too intense. There was something familiar yet elusive about it, reminiscent of early morning air after the rain, or that brief calm following a cold shower. A fragrance that wakes the senses without startling them — green, grounded, and quietly uplifting.
Founded in London by Linda Jayne Pilkington, Ormonde Jayne has long been admired for its philosophy of craftsmanship and individuality.
